here's a story that I like to tell that I've heard about Tiger Woods tiger pled in the National amateur at Newport Country Club a long time ago was having difficulties with his with his putting his dad was off to the side of the green and his he called his dad over and said Dad I'm having a heck of a time making putts I can't make any putts his dad looked at him he said Son practice one foot putts and walked off the green so what's the deal what what's this mean practice one foot putts the beautiful thing about this and the logical thing about this is that you make putts and that gives you the confidence that when you go farther back and further back then you can do the same thing and make those putts so start short sometimes when you're having trouble putting you'll get to be a better putter
