The super 8mm film in the beginning of this video was used in the excellent documentary film, King For A Day. I shot it In September of 1994, when I brought Tiny Tim to Tampa Florida to record, what he considered his best album…Prisoner of Love (a tribute to Russ Columbo). The recording was done during the night, so during the days we would go to the parks, where Tiny would sing songs and enjoy the Florida sunshine. In this clip Tiny was at the house relaxing, answering a few questions and singing songs with his trademark ukulele. Tiny sings Memories and I’m still Caring, by one of his favorite crooners, Rudy Vallee. Tiny talks about meeting him and singing this song to him when they appeared together on the Joe Franklin show in 1978. This is Really Fun Stuff! Unreleased until now!
