It almost didn’t happen. Carnival of Excess almost didn’t see the light of day because GG Allin wanted a gaggle of strippers in the studio while he did the vocals. This wasn’t going to happen due to the covert nature of the sessions. GG and I had a very heated debate over it. He wasn’t backing down and threatened not to record. Razor came out and let him have it with a verbal lashing that had me freaking out! We found common ground and agreed on one stripper to accompany GG in the studio that night. We all made up and the week proceeded as planned. The album was finished and the rest is history.
