I meet with owner Scott Mecredy, on site at Music on Main Street to talk through the design of the tiny studio. We agree to approach this build as Jazz carpentry, allowing the design to stay flexible to let improvisations happen. Then I get to work clearing the site, pouring the footers and rebuilding the rock wall.
