This tiny nuclear bunker beneath a gym in ‘s-Gravenzande was built in 1970. The local population did not know of its existence. It was an emergency bunker (Noodbestuurderspost) for the mayor and a small staff. From here he could coordinate aid after a nuclear attack.#coldwarhistory
