String trio Time for Three joins The Philadelphia Orchestra to perform Kevin Puts’s Contact, a work they recorded together for Deutsche Grammophon and won a GRAMMY for in 2023. The piece imagines an encounter across galaxies, as Puts described it, “a call to intelligent life across the vast distances containing clues to our DNA, to our very nature as Earth people.” Principal Guest Conductor Marin Alsop leads this work April 23–25 in Marian Anderson Hall.
