This is a reading of Lewis Shiner's short story "Till Human Voices Wake Us" which first appeared in the May 1984 issue of "The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction" and later appeared in Bruce Sterling's seminal Cyberpunk anthology "Mirrorshades". Shiner has released this under a Creative Commons license. The phrase "till human voices wake us" is the last line of the 1915 poem "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" by T. S. Eliot.
