In this video I show you how to do a mirror adjustment on your co2 laser. My laser is a Thunder Nova 35-100 watt machine. This is the first alignment I’ve had to do since I purchased it 2 years ago. We discuss some terminology you will need to know and what steps to follow. There are several ways to accomplish this, this is the process that makes sense to me. A shout out goes to Chris Locascio of Thunder Laser (video link below)for idea of aligning the red light to the laser beam path, he covered this is a video he produced several months ago and it works great.

A word of caution, please don’t attempt this unless you full understand the process and your laser. Adjusting your mirrors improperly can have a catastrophic effect on the ability of your laser. You should rule out the following BEFORE you attempt this procedure.
1. All mirrors and focus lens is clean and properly placed
2. You have confirmed you honeycomb is parallel with your x gantry.
