It's the antepenultimate challenge of Season 9 of the Tubers High Score Challenge and this time we have Toaplan's Dogyuun released in arcades in 1992 chosen by Manshovel.
In this game, you start off completely powered up with one of four different types of shots, the blue Mega Shot. The other three shots are the pink Psycho Wave, the green V-Laser, and the red Homing Fire. The player also has a tractor beam, which can grab enemies from behind and protect your ship. Additionally, if you hold onto an enemy your score will continue to increase as you survive; however, it’s easier said than done.
I found this challenge very....challenging! Damn tough shmup! I struggled with this one in particular, just couldn't get into the groove. Anyway here's my run....
