It's the final challenge of the season! It's my pick and I thought we'd go out with a good old shmup but with a little twist....I've chosen Raiden Fighters Jet released by Seibu Kaihatsu in 1998, Raiden Fighters Jet is the third and last game in the Raiden Fighters series. This game retains the same intensity and manic gameplay as its predecessors, while introducing several new mechanics.
The twist was instead of the normal game we played the special mode. In this mode you're facing every boss from the game in sequence so it's a boss rush challenge! There’s 12 bosses to beat before you face the true final boss which can only be seen in the normal game if you reach the Real Battle missions, and then achieve a no-miss run in Real Battle Phase 1 and avoid using a continue in Phase 2.
Here's my run, my brick wall was the 6th boss, I managed to make the 7th boss once but didn’t beat my old score....
