Across Sri Lanka, many women continue to face overlapping challenges that make them especially vulnerable to climate change and other crises. In response, UN Women, in partnership with Chrysalis and the Australian Government, is implementing THRIVE: Together for Her — a transformative 5-year initiative designed to build resilience, inclusion, and equality.
#THRIVE empowers women across six districts by encouraging women’s participation in local decision-making and policy discussions. It strengthens women-led businesses by facilitating access to markets and financial resources while actively challenging harmful social norms that impede gender equality. By recognizing and valuing the diverse experiences of all women, #THRIVE ensures no one is left behind.
