We visit our favorite thrift shop, Crossroads Emporium. This thrift store is found in Clarksville, VA, near Kerr Lake. They have just about everything you would expect at a thrift shop, but they also have a good selection of camping gear and outdoor gear in their military surplus area. We were able to find what we were looking for that day, and a few extra items, of course.
