For years I would put huge pedalboards together to get the best ambient guitar tones - mixing multiple delays, revers, dedicated ambient loopers, and other textural effects to craft my ambient guitar sound. Recently, I've been realizing I can get great ambient tones with just THREE essential elements.
Today we're taking a look at these three elements by exploring three pedals from Keeley Electronics. Keeley has gone ambient in recent years with some fantastic reverb and delay pedals that not only sound great but are some of the more affordable stereo delay and reverb pedals in the boutique market. Let's dive into the Keeley Compressor+, Keeley Halo Core and Keeley ZOMA and see how they can create some great ambient guitar tones.
