Today I'm making three original beer cocktails that are simple and inexpensive to make. Why beer cocktails? I don't see them on menus much and would love for there to be more effort put into this somewhat niche drinks category.
#1
1oz/30ml St Germaine
Top Kolsch or other dry, light beer
#2
1oz/30ml rye
.5oz/15ml Liquid Alchemist apple spice syrup
Top porter or stout
#3
1oz/30ml Skrewball
.5oz/15ml Campari
.5oz/15ml grenadine
Top west coast IPA (but north east might be great too!)
I originally conceived these for a Zoom happy hour I was hired to host, but never ended up doing. The attendees were to have the ingredients shipped to them, which is why the recipes are based on minis. Thank you for reading to the end 🤓
