Threads of Legacy 2026 turns Thai heritage into modern bags
THREADS OF LEGACY: S'CRAFT 2026 is now showcasing the artistry of Thai textiles at ICONSIAM, bringing together SIRIVANNAVARI and ICONCRAFT under the creative direction of HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. The collection carries forward the legacy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother in preserving and elevating Thai craftsmanship for an international audience.
Limited to just 88 pieces, the collection brings together handwoven textiles and intricate embroidery by leading Thai artisans and the SIRIVANNAVARI Atelier & Academy. Among its centrepieces are four one-of-a-kind bags from the VICHIT RATTANA EXCLUSIVE COLLECTOR’S EDITION, with designs drawing inspiration from royal Thai dress, landmark architecture, and distinctive local textile traditions.
Visitors can also discover eight designs from the SIAM SOPHIT EDITION, inspired by significant royal residences and throne halls, alongside the CHARAT SIAM range featuring woven fabrics from the Ko Kerd Arts and Crafts Centre in Ayutthaya in practical, contemporary forms. THREADS OF LEGACY: S'CRAFT 2026 is running from August 11–13 at Tara Hall, M Floor, ICONSIAM, Bangkok.
