Here's Southern Transit's TA400 (Y514NHK), on a Southern rail replacement between Horsham and Littlehampton (fast service), recorded between Arundel and Pulborough. This driver was really good, hitting 40+ for most of the journey, as well as hitting 50 a few times.
Brief history of TA400:
TA400 was new to Stagecoach East London in June 2001, for route 26 out of their Stratford (SD) garage. TA400 was renumbered to 17400 in January 2003. After SD closed in February 2008 to allow Stratford to be redeveloped for the 2012 Olympic Games, all services, including 17400, transferred to West Ham (WH). A year later, in June 2009, 17400 transferred along with route 15 to Bow (BW). 17400 transferred again to Upton Park (U) in June 2011, and transferred back to WH three months later (after U closed), where it spent its final days. 17400 was withdrawn in April 2012, and was sold to Ensignbus later in August, where it stayed for almost 2 years, before being sold off to Southern Transit in July 2014, where it is now.
