On this episode of Thor Talk, we will be looking at the second time that Marvel’s Thor ever appeared in a comic. This comic features the first appearance of Jane Foster, establishes the status quo, and gives an insight as to how communism was portrayed in Cold War era Marvel, but, despite all this, it seems to often be forgotten in favor of its predecessor and successor. I’ll present my own theory for it being neglected, but if that doesn’t interest you, there’s still Thor fighting communism.
