Justice League wasn’t the first superhero movie changed by the studios, it’s been happening for quite a while. Originally Malekith and the Dark Elves were much more terrifying and sympathetic as they were victims of Asgard’s past. Everything changed when greedy execs wanted more money and made what they thought would be a more widely appealing movie right under director Alan Taylor’s nose.
