The power of hand-drawn animation comes to life in Hungarian Director Áron Gauder’s new movie FOUR SOULS OF COYOTE. The film, which is a contender for Hungary’s entry into the Oscars this year, brings to life songwriter Tamás Cseh’s interpretation of Indigenous folktales on themes of natural stewardship and creation. This visually sumptuous film screens at the Edmonton International Film Festival on Tuesday, September 26, at the Telus World of Science.
As an appetizer, Tony King invited director Áron Gauder in to share his insight into an animated opus that was a culmination of six years of love and hard work. Their conversation takes place Monday on Thoroughfare at 1:45 in the afternoon. Don’t miss it!
