Lets go ADULT factory error toy hunting AGAIN as more new stock arrives after being too late for Christmas. The focus again will be Thomas & Friends Trackmaster Motorised engines. This is now mid February and only a few shops have been restocked. There's still lots of empty pegs and completely empty Thomas toy areas in most retailer. I see the Hot Wheels cars are now back in stock and very late Christmas Advent calendars have arrived. Maybe what was the most amazing find was the Thomas & Friends Trackmaster All Engines Go stock, first time I have seen this new toy in store and sadly the factory errors that plagued the previous Trackmaster toys is still persisting.
The Trackmaster Motorized Thomas train toys are a gold mine for factory errors. The best style of fault to find is mismatched packaging, wrong character names, and parts of toy part totally missing. Poor printing train engine details is very common and almost the norm. But what's really interesting is how some of the same character toy trains have different painted eyes or line detailing. Finding errors in toys can add huge value if your on selling them and these error toys need to be kept mint in box. But be really careful because many toy factory errors can be set up by people manipulating the toy after purchasing. Sadly this style of fraud is rife in the Hot Wheels collecting environment. And while thinking about Hot Wheels I now find MORE loaded pegs of the Hot Wheel car Loco Motorin that was set up as Thomas The Tank in 2020. It was a Hot Wheels car that could easily pull 10 times it's price being resold on eBay. Potentially it's a Hot Wheels that will have a huge price in years to come if it's in mint condition. The very late Hot Wheels Advent Calenders I find will be perfect for Christmas In July.
