Check-up time for Thomas the moray eel! 🩺💚

Recently, our aquarists and Animal Health team carefully moved Thomas out of the Giant Ocean Tank for his annual health exam. During the exam, they performed an ultrasound, measured his length and weight, and checked important indicators of his overall health, including his gills, which were bright red and looking healthy.

At ~5.5 ft. long and ~ 38 lb., Thomas was officially declared a "healthy adult male moray eel” by the team.
