I needed to test out a string library from Samplemodeling called Solo & Ensemble Strings, it's the best sounding library I have for super Intimate and expressive playing, especially in a trio, quartet or quintet context.
Coincidentally, I recently discovered Thomas Adès beautiful piece called Arcadiana, even it was made in 1994.
This is a mockup of the 6th movement called "O, Albion", using only the sample library mentionned above. Pretty neat.
To be more specific, I recently got a pedal to control midi CC signals with my feet. So now I can control both expression (CC11) and vibrato (CC1) in the case of this specific library, and it sound MUCH better without having to spend hours tweaking after the take !
And to finish, sorry for not posting anything these days, I have many projects going on at the same time with almost none worthy of doing a video or something for my channel, but yeah, busier than ever.
