We’re back in Michigan with a big (sad) update on the Daydream Depot and a decision that wasn’t easy to make.
Then we point the Airstream and our 1917 Old Town canoe north for a road trip through Northern Michigan. Our first stop takes us to Frankenmuth, Michigan, home of the world’s largest Christmas store, before an unexpected discovery along the Au Sable River completely changes our route.
Sometimes the places you have the highest expectations for don’t turn out the way you imagined, while the places you know almost nothing about become the highlight of the trip.
From RV travel and camping in Michigan to paddling the Au Sable River and exploring small towns along the way, this episode is a good reminder that sometimes the best plan is being willing to change it.
