In Early September 2021 we set off on an epic expedition from the UK to Turkey and everywhere in between. With the new Brexit rules on travel being restricted to 90 days in Europe we had to travel outside of the Schengen zone to extend our trip, so we added countries like Albania, Romania and Turkey to our list, each of which allow 90 days in their respective countries, meaning our trip could last as long as we wanted, within the limits of our vehicle MOT and insurance of course.
We made a few route changes along the way, the biggest was to go into Norway and up to the arctic circle, which was such an amazing section of our trip, as was Sweden too, but those 90 days started to countdown really fast so we headed out of schengen.
