Today we are reviewing another variant of Venezianico Nereide, their staple diver model. Called Malachite, it comes with a stone dial and a new type of bracelet that wears better on a small wrist and comes with microadjustment, something missing on their Canova bracelets. Done in 42mm it is a bit large for my taste but will fit most people perfectly, while 12,5mm of thickness makes it sit nice and low on wrist. Powered by a Sellita SW200 it comes with both hacking and hand winding as well as a smooth seconds hand thanks to a 28.800 bph beat rate.
The bezel is done in tungsten, so should remain scratch free, while the case has my kind of finish, with brushed top and side surfaces and just a small polished bevel separating them.
