In this short, I begin with an image transfer of my Venetian door, layering it onto the gel plate before adding leftover scrap papers to build the composition. The transfer brings instant architectural detail and texture, while the scraps create unexpected movement and depth.
I build paper layers intuitively, embracing contrast, shape, and the interplay of colour and form. The final piece is pulled in one fantastic pull.
