Today I’m printing on the gel plate with Gelli Arts image transfer sheets, and I’m really putting them through their paces. I start by testing a single transfer on the gel plate, surrounding it with stamped designs to see how it behaves and how much detail comes through. From there, I layer multiple image transfers, print them several times, and explore just how far these sheets can be pushed.
Then I bring out my large gel plate and cover the entire surface with image transfers, pulling big, layered prints and seeing how everything comes together. The results honestly surprised me — the prints turned out rich, detailed, and beautifully embedded into the paint.
