Did you know that RuneScape’s Herblore skill used to be called Herblaw? Herblaw is not a real word but for the first three years of the game, that's how it was spelled in the skills menu. It wasn’t fixed until RuneScape 2 launched where it was quietly renamed to the proper spelling. But why was it spelled wrong in the first place? Years later, Paul Gower admitted the mistake was his. He was the one who had misspelled the word and nobody noticed because most players just assumed it was some made up fantasy word.
