Rocket League YouTube creators have a big problem. Our content is constantly getting stolen and remade by several non-English channels and there's almost nothing we can do about. With a game like Rocket League consistent and unique video ideas are hard to come by, but channels like @Lethamyr @SunlessKhan @amustycow @WaytonPilkin and @CBellRL always seem find new ways to entertain and evolve. Unfortunately, creators in other countries have taken notice. We now see many popular English videos being copied and redone by channels around the world. In this video I explore this troubling trend and discuss the difference in being inspired versus stealing and how copyright law is no help for us in these situations. Finally we focus on one channel that has now reached the doing straight covers of some scripted videos. Shot for shot and word for word.
Thanks to @FrowzySquirrel and @ShadowReformed for their help with this video.
