Trexo Robotics has developed a robotic walking assist designed to help children in need practice standing and walking in an upright position.
The Trexo device supports a child’s legs using motorized joints and guided foot movement, helping move the child forward through the bottoms of their feet in a natural walking pattern. The robot walker is tablet-operated, allowing therapists or caregivers to adjust speed, step length, and assistance level during supervised sessions.
Designed for use in therapy clinics, hospitals, and homes with adult supervision, Trexo supports repeated walking practice with battery-powered operation lasting several hours per charge. The modular system is adjustable, allowing it to grow with the child over time.
Trexo Robotics plans to expand its lineup of robotic aides and hopes its technology can one day help make movement and even sports more accessible for children with mobility challenges.
