Boone scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 2. James Ownes, Sarah Boone‘s attorney, said he “strongly” suggested his client consider the plea deal before she was found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of her boyfriend. Four years after Sarah Boone was arrested in the death of Jorge Torres, jurors handed down the verdict against her Friday evening after deliberating for about 90 minutes. Boone had pleaded not guilty.
