Policy disagreements are one thing, but America has become more and more divided in recent years over something more fundamental than policy. A movement has taken hold in the United States that aims to take over and form a dictatorship in place of the democracy we've had for over two centuries. What was formally the Republican party has become the Maga Party, where fascism reigns and the only thing that matters is power and forcing their version of religion down the throats of millions who don't want it. This goes against everything America was founded on and has stood for since the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776.
They can't even argue they are worried about the country as a whole anymore after not only refusing to vote on a massively popular border bill (full of conservative dreams), but also refusing to compromise on anything that would make our country safer. The latest straw to break the already broken camel's back comes in the form of Marjorie Taylor Greene filing a motion to vacate against house speaker Mike Johnson because he did the right thing and brought a bill to the floor of the house to avert a government shutdown. At this point, they seem way more interested in just causing chaos than actually doing anything productive, and it's time to fire them by going to the ballot box in November and emphatically voting them out of office.
