A viewer recently purchased a 1999 Liberty Bus XL Pervost from a local dealer. They asked me if I could show them how to operate and use it and when I was finally able to stop by I was completely surprised and baffled by what I saw. This had most of the mechanical and electrical systems I would want in a bus conversion, but still showed signs of its Liberty heritage. However, the cabinetry, dash and countertops really looked nothing like a Liberty, but the ceiling was obviously Liberty. I really feel fortunate to have been able to see this Liberty and loved the floorplan too. It reall crosses off the list of features most buyers would want in a Prevost XL riveted bus conversion and I was impressed by the condition too. While I did not figure out the complete history or mystery, as I believe the original owner made most of the modifications while the previous owners merely was a caretaker, the current owner will likely extend the life and beauty of this bus for years to come. Liberty Coach definitely agreed the bus has been heavily modified, but I do not know who did the modifications and refit but they did wonderful work!
