Today, I made a fairly rushed cross-country trek back to @Sewellmotorcoach in Harrodsburg, KY not to do work for Doug Sewell but on request of a customer. They were interested in purchasing this rare 2004 Bruce XL2 motorcoach that was for sale "As Is!"
While it is difficult to do a complete inspection with only the tools I bought and my two hands and 2 eyes, I was able to borrow all the tools necessary to finish the inspection and then some. While there is no doubt this bus could use a little TLC, it does appear well cared for and more importantly Bruce Custom Conversions out of British Columbia, Canada did a very unique floorplan and included a nearly commercial grade 2-stage "chiller" to provide air conditioning.
The potential new owner did give me permission to share my discoveries and the beautiful coach because I did think it was noteworthy and we do not get to see Bruce Motorcoaches very often.
Sewell Motor Coach also made a video walk thru on this bus which is worth watching too.
I would also recommend looking at @expats_ontherun to view his re-conversion of a 1999 Country Coach H3 which will include a chiller HVAC unit.
