Erin Genia SM '19, a multimedia artist who is Dakota, an enrolled member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate, believes Indigenous philosophies are often not well known or understood. In her art, Genia addresses societal issues—such as institutional racism and climate change—through an Indigenous lens.
