UPERFECT sent over two very similar 18.5 inch 1080p 120Hz portable monitors: one standard IPS model and one with their newer NXTLED display technology.

At first, I genuinely struggled to tell which was which. But after living with both monitors for a few weeks, the differences became much clearer. The NXTLED model has noticeably better viewing angles, less colour shift, a more comfortable look for reading, and still keeps the useful matte, low-glare finish that makes these monitors practical in a bright workspace.
This is not a revolutionary display technology, and I still think “paper-like” is being used far too loosely across the monitor industry. But for a very small price difference, the NXTLED version is the one I would choose.
I also take a look at UPERFECT’s multi-monitor hub, the included accessories, the magnetic stand, and whether these monitors make sense as part of a portable or flexible desk setup.
