A music festival in Paris was marred by violence, sexual assaults and destruction of property. It all seemed like behaviour more associated with a third world country than the city of romance and Left Bank philosophy.

A brief perusal of the footage may reveal why.

Thank God the authorities are there to reassure us that the evidence of our own eyes and ears is just more misinformation, and "no major incidents were reported".
