Thus begins the San Andreas Mercenaries update - introducing an entirely new Challenge Tier System with the Career Progress tab.
Under the Contact Missions tab, all existing storyline Contact Missions now feature their own list of challenges, the 3 tasks to unlock Tier 4 - and by extension all previous tiers - are as follows:
- Complete all [storyline] missions on Hard difficulty without using snacks or armor.
- Complete all [storyline] missions taking less than 50% damage.
- Complete all [storyline] missions with over 80% accuracy.

My advice; Run to the top floor & take cover in one of the small L-shape corridors that enemies can spawn from. Put your faith in unrelenting blind-firing of Machine Guns, Rifles & Shotguns... dont use incendiary ammo or explosives.
When youve no body armor & no snacks left; steel your nerves. You will catch the odd stray bullet, but nothing major until Waves 14/15. If youre getting hit, stop firing but dont move - the last thing you want is to fall back and let the AI read that as chance to push.

The goal was to achieve Big Boss rank while also saving Dr. Madnar, a task that can be entirely skipped if you already know the information he gives you, (which is vital to beat the game), upon saving him and does canonically happen during the events of Operation Intrude N313.
Credit to this route goes to@SoulSignal, who without his walkthrough covering this idea - doing it with 0 Rations and only making use of 1 single save - Id have never been able to include it with the Saladin Challenge.

In the wake of this weeks Employee of the Month Community Challenge, I kicked into gear and got cracking on the Tier 4 Challenge for Simeons Repo missions... and went for all 3 tasks at once.
Complete all missions;
- on Hard without using Snacks or Armour.
- taking less than 50% damage.
- with over 80% accuracy.
Specific vehicles I recommend owning are;
1. Kuruma (Armored)
2. Cargobob
3. RCV - requires owning a Facility.

Erm... this hasnt happened since 2016. Back then the idea of the main chunk of missions from an update being in Freeroam and with a PvP focus, I didnt know nor kinda want to make a video out of those at the time, favouring GTA Online updates to follow along the lines of closed session missions like the Heists & Lowriders updates before then - bit of story and a few cutscenes. Thats why I never did videos on them until quite a bit later.
But here... life has simply been good this year that it got in the way of such trivial gameplay avenues, among other things in gaming I could focus on.

So yeah, its easy to put on the Raiden Outfit and get faster sprint... but what if you played with a loadout that was built to match Metal Gear Risings sandbox of weapons & equipment as closely as possible? Interesting question for a game that is literal opposite in terms of gameplay.
