In this episode (2 of 3) we pick up where we left off… Incremental advances from radio into television were the staple of the mid-20th century, and then we had a cable television explosion thanks to the new pay-tv model set up by HBO. But what happened next? How did we go from 800 cable systems around the country to a handful?
