Today I’m Metal detecting along the Newport coast near Crystal Cove at a lesser-detected beach. At first glance the beach I wanted to go to looked good, but when I rounded the corner and saw the erosion on a different stretch of beach, I decided I’d give it a try. After a short amount of time, it was clear that I made the right decision because this beach was absolutely loaded with coins and jewelry. This was the first time in a long time that I got to experience an actual patch of targets instead of chasing random ones all across the entire beach. I wish every day could be like this. But it can’t so we have to enjoy it while we’ve got it.
