Rob Stenberg has spent years doing what most people think is impossible —
bringing forgotten Honda motorcycles back to life, exactly as they were.
At Art Shokai Garage, every bike gets a full nut-and-bolt restoration.
Vapour blasting, zinc processing, fabrication, painting, nothing leaves
unless it's right. Rob aims to keep at least 95% of every bike original
to itself.
The name Art Shokai is no accident. It's a nod to the very first garage
where a 17-year-old Soichiro Honda began his journey as an apprentice,
the same place where a revolution started.
In this video, Rob shares the story behind the garage, the philosophy
behind the restorations, and the young apprentice he's passing it all on to.
These aren't just old bikes. They were once someone's pride and joy,
a farmer's workhorse, a kid's first Honda, a shiny machine fresh off the
showroom floor. Rob's mission is simple: give them a second life.
