Come along with me to the Ohio Fall Knap-In in Coshocton, Ohio, for an hour of traditional flintknapping! In this video, I work a beautiful piece of colorful Flint Ridge material from Roy Miller into a Hardin point for a fellow knapper at the event.
It was a privilege to see Roy and have the opportunity to work some of his Flint Ridge rock. The colors and patterns in this material really came alive as the point took shape.
This is a laid-back, full-length watch-me-knap video from under my canopy at one of the larger knap-ins of the year. No shortcuts—just an hour of stone, percussion, pressure, and flakes as I work this piece into a finished Hardin point.
