Turkey's Higher Education Institutions Examination (YSK) recently caused quite a stir. After the examination earlier this month, two controversial exam questions emerged. One of these problems is a calculus question, a typical example of graph analysis to determine where roots may occur. It's easy to arrive at the correct answer according to the key, but legal action may be taken to change the key or cancel the question as the 'correct answer' is actually not as right as it may first appear.
