The hardest spirit category to comply with is bottled in bond. All the whiskey must be aged 4+ years, it must be made at one distillery, in one distilling season (Jan-Jun or July-Dec), and it must be bottled at 100 proof.Cask strength whiskey has no water added to it after aging and before bottling, so the idea of a cask strength bottled in bond whiskey makes no sense. Add to all of that the fact that Angel's envy has only ever released secondary finished whiskey, and this is an unfinished bourbon, and you have a product that makes no sense. The most important question is, does the whiskey taste good? If you want to see how this whiskey tastes and if we think it is a buy or pass then this video is for you!
