Some people were surprised when I named Barrell Foundation as my 2024 Bourbon Of The Year. When I thought about the shift from high priced limited edition bottles to consumers just looking for something good to drink that was affordable and available, I could not think of a better example than Barrell Foundation. When I found out they had a double barrel version coming out I was ecstatic. In this bourbon review you will find out if the new double barrel version takes this winner to new heights, or if the extra effort is just complicating an already good thing.
