This week we got the clearest picture of what Cory Barlogs next game is at Santa Monica Studio and it appears to be a game in the God of War universe with Faye as the protagonist! Interesting premise no doubt, but theres some debate going on for sure. We also just yesterday had Microsoft confirm that yes, the next-generation Xbox will play PC games. Its codenamed Project Helix, and it sounds EXPENSIVE. We also got some additional context on the Bloodborne & Bluepoint story, details for PSSRs big update, and Sony walking away from PC single player games. Which by the way, they launched Marathon yesterday and that so far is actually doing pretty well! Whats not doing well is Highguard, thats getting shutdown. Oh, and more God of War Amazon casting reveals. That picture they released was.. interesting? Im no Ryan Hurst, but that bald cap stuck out. Maybe I should go bald. (Nah, Im on fin right now).

This week we had a slight reporting mishap with Naughty Dogs Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet where we learned the game will not be at The Game Awards this year, nor will it launch in 2026. All thanks to a big misunderstanding! Elsewhere in the week we have the dreaded DRAM shortage thats been going on, and for those wondering if PS5 console prices are going up, its sounding like Sony made a smart move again. We also have the PS Plus Essential December lineup with bonus games, Sonys big PC revenue numbers, a big Destiny 3 rumor, PS5 Japan sales, and some Ubisoft AI news. Yippyyyy! I for one, am NOT ready for our AI overlords. I think theyre overrated.
