This week we have more bad new as PlayStation has confirmed another studio closure with this one being Dark Outlaw Games. Gone before they even released their first game! Then we had some PSN issues on Saturday, which we have to remind ourselves its not PSN anymore. And we got some press previews for Housemarques Saros! Its looking SO GOOD. We discuss all the juicy gameplay details. Then we got sales data for God of War Sons of Sparta & Marathon, a Jak & Daxter Remake video?! And frame generation is coming to PlayStation at some point. Mark Cerny cued us in on that one. Then we have casting updates for PS Productions and uhhh, theres other stuff too. We discussed the PS5 price increases in a separate video. Were over 2 weeks since PlayStation announced theyre ending disc production in January 2028 and the pressure isnt slowing down that much. Fans are still heavily pushing back on the company, and theres continued pressure from lawsuits, regulation, and now developers as well. Most arent saying anything yet, but the tea leaves are there. Community notes left and right, YouTube trailers with comments clamoring to keep physical media. The pressure is on Sony and it might start to get real awkward if they dont talk soon. But for me? Dont you worry. I talked for 32 minutes here. On the shorter side for LTPS nowadays. Whacky times were in folks.
