Our customer Ford more than 100 years ago changed the automotive industry when introducing efficient serial production processes. Now they use EOS #3Dprinting to marry both the desire for #individualization and the need for #security. For this, they use, among others, the freedom of design 3D printing is offering to create a very special application. With a web-based configurator developed by trinckle, and EOS 3D printing as a production technology, special rim lug nuts can now be created in a very individualized way, as such protecting the wheels of a car from being stolen.
