In terms of quality cinema lens, Sirui isn't at the top on many peoples list, but they should be. In recent years Sirui has been pumping out some amazing lenses. Todays lens, the 55mm T1.2 Nightwalker is no exception. Its an incredible lens, but has already been pushed aside by the market and influencers because of its APSC format.
But for people on a budget, the Nightwalkers are excellent value and can breathe new life into older camera systems, which I show in the video.

![Angelbird V4 CFexpress Type B 256GB - Is LESS MORE in 2026?
Can a 256GB card handle high-end cinema workflows? In this review, I’m putting the **Angelbird AV PRO SE CFexpress Type B (V4)** to the ultimate test. With memory prices doubling, I wanted to see if these more affordable 256GB cards could actually keep up with 12K RAW and 8K workflows without dropping frames.
** Iused an industry-standard random pattern generator to push the data rates to their absolute breaking point. Here’s how it performed:**
* Blackmagic Pyxis 12K: Handled 12K B-RAW torture tests with zero dropped frames.
* **Canon R5:** Flawless 8K RAW recording.
* **Lumix GH7:** 5.7K ProRes RAW recorded perfectly until the card was full.
**What we cover in this video:**
* **Thermal Management:** Why these cards stayed at a cool 38°C even under heavy 12K stress.
* **The Handshake Advantage:** Testing the speed benefits of using the Angelbird card reader.
* **Real-World Record Times:** A breakdown of how much footage you can actually fit on a 256GB card.
**Sony & Professional Camera Compatibility:**
While I focused on the Pyxis and Canon in this test, these cards are a top-tier choice for the high-bitrate demands of the Sony ecosystem. They are fully compatible and recommended for:
* **Sony A7S V (A7S5):** Perfect for handling the highest internal recording settings.
* **Sony A1 & A7R V:** Reliable for high-speed bursts and 8K video.
* **Sony FX3 & FX30:** A great professional alternative for the CFexpress Type A/B hybrid workflow.
* **Other compatible bodies:** RED V-RAPTOR, Komodo X, Canon C300 mkiii, Fujifilm X-H2S, and the Nikon Z series.
As a cinematographer, reliability is my first priority. If youre looking for professional-grade media that wont break the bank, the Angelbird V4 series is a serious contender.
