I learned about West Haven Farm and its new owners—Carlos Aguilera and Lorena Aguilera-Mendoza—through Liz Walker, co-founder of the EcoVillage at Ithaca. Together with their family and small, committed team, the Aguilera's run a community supported agriculture program (CSA) for the surrounding community, raise funds to provide CSA boxes to those in need, and maintain a 10+- acre biodiverse, organic farm, which comes with both its rewards and challenges.
